MCL is in the business of acquiring, protecting, administering, and exploiting rights in new and established artists and their music compositions. The company will license its new music portfolio for a variety of uses, i.e., motion picture scores, soundtracks and recordings, TV programming, radio broadcasting, and sound design for online computer games. It also will capitalize on many of the cross-platform sales opportunities offered by the film industry in regard to the marketing and sales of its new proprietary film budgeting software. In return for these services, MCL will collect a generous percentage of the royalty income earned, anywhere between 25% and 50% of the gross.
A steady flow of cash stems from these multiple income streams:
• Royalties from the sale of new and existing music compositions;
* Royalties from motion picture scores, soundtracks, and sound design;
• Licensing and sales of a world-class music catalog of 30,000 Masters;
• Licensing and sales of online game sound design and sound effects;
• Fees earned from Film Financing (both “bridge” and “bond guarantee”).
Movie Capital Limited is headquarters is Auckland, New Zealand (described by film industry insiders as “the new Hollywood”).
The cost savings and sheer tax advantages to MCL for centralizing its operations in New Zealand are numerous.
At the same time, MCL is expanding with new office in Korea in 2009.
Animators-Ink, Limited was founded by Matthew Wilson, a world class Animatator classically trained by John Ewing of the Walt Disney Company and Dana Louise Stewart, a film producer who just completed the independent documentary Real N' Raw.
